Details
Midsommar
Midsommar is a visually striking horror film directed by Ari Aster, set in a Swedish village during a unique midsummer festival. The movie combines haunting imagery, unsettling rituals, and an oppressive sense of unease to explore themes of grief, trauma, and community.
The May Queen: The title of The May Queen is given at the end of the festival to the girl who can last the longest during a dancing competition during the rituals. The elected queen is then decorated with flowers, worshiped by others, and has some special mission ahead of her.
